No such thing as bad ice cream

or is there? Today, I got a scoop of "candy cane" ice cream after a nice run around the pond with BF. It sounded really really good but when I tasted it, it was a little too sweet and not minty at all. I was hoping it would be just as refreshing as peppermint or mint chocolate chip, but it wasn't. I guess I should have asked for a sample but I'm not that person. I have always subscribed to the philosophy that there's no such thing as bad ice cream. Maybe there isn't but there's definitely really really good and incredible ice cream. B& J's Cherry Garcia... Braum's Mint Chocolate Chip... Blue Bell's Rocky Road... and Mom's homemade peach... Or Snow Cream.
