Ahhhh Paris

After a few days in Bath and Brussels, we arrived into Paris by train at 3:00 p.m. and walked to an apartment that we rented through airbnb.com. Yes, we walked. The apartment we rented was only a couple of blocks away from the train station nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a bakery, a wine shop, cafes, a grocery, a pharmacy, and shopping. We met our hostess for a tour of the apartment. The apartment was really nice and the views amazing (see above). Our view included the Sacre Coeur and the Saint Vincent du Paul church. It was even more beautiful at night - indeed the City of Lights. We explored the neighborhood, had tea at a cafe (a coffeehouse), and picked up some items for a light supper from the grocery next door. Baguettes, fromage, wine.
