In just a few weeks, I will have closed on my house, sold my belongings, quit my well-paying job of nine years, and moved in with S in Boston. Ironically enough, I will officially become a Boston resident on July 4th and will be celebrating my newfound freedom. Our new place in JP is amazing and is just around the corner from the Arboretum where there are hiking trails and a bike path. We can walk to a whole host of quaint restaurants varying from Indian to Sushi to Thai plus a Harvest Foods, a cafe, JP Licks and a bike shop. Fenway's a just a little longer walk. A carefree night on the town is just a few t-stops away. And I no longer have to sit in my car every day stuck in traffic on I65. Instead, my commute will be a brisk walk and a 15-minute T-ride listening to tunes, people watching or reading a book.
