America the Great

I am proud of Americans who have reached out to survivors of Hurricane Katrina. It's amazing how much our country cares for each other and what great humanitarians we are in the face of disaster. People are opening their homes to strangers and offering to house them until they get back on their feet. Colleges from around the country are finding a place for displaced students in the Gulf States. Everyone is donating whatever they can to provide food and shelter for the survivors. We must continue to lift up our prayers for all of the survivors and pray that they will be reunited with their loved ones.
