Good, Better, Best of 4
Today was my first quiz in law school. I feel like I did pretty well but as anticipated, there were a few red herrings thrown in just for kicks. It was almost as if I was taking the LSAT again and trying to figure out which answer was the best of THREE GOOD ANSWERS in a very short period of time. I went with my gut instinct and kept moving so that I could finish in time. Hopefully my gut is better judge than my anxiety who loves to second guess every choice I make. I'm going to enjoy feeling good about it today. Luckily there were only 3 that I had to really reason through, the rest were zingers. Keep your fingers crossed and wish me well. (I know. It's too late now. The bubbles have been filled in and have probably already been fed into the machine). I love the mojo anyhow. At least your well wishes will make ME feel better. This quiz is not a killer if I didn't do well. It's just a measure of where I am right now. I wish we had more of them. Seriously! It's a luxury in law school. Otherwise, sweat it out until exams or until you get called on to present a case before you discover if you know the material as well as you'd hope. I'd rather NOT wait until exams. Can you imagine? One exam = your grade for the semester with some dubious "participation" points thrown. Scary indeed!
